Hello! I’m Debra Namara. I am a woman, a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend, a healer, a teacher, a student, a survivor and so much more, just as you are.

I have lived in Canberra for almost 40 years, raised my sons here and in the last few years have been building my beautiful KaHuna Massage and Reiki business. In 2016 I graduated my Birth Doula training and in 2019 I moved into Fertility and Womb Massage, along with Yoni Steaming and other womb healing modalities.

I worked in customer service industries and Human Resources in the Australian Public Service for most of my adult life and I have also been a Civil Celebrant.

My soul’s home is Hawaii and I am drawn there each year to visit my dear friends, recharge and bask in the aloha spirit. Ho’omana or Huna philosophy is very dear to my soul and I am guided by these principles in all aspects of my work.

As an experienced bodyworker, I have integrated different modalities into a flowing, nurturing, therapeutic, yet relaxing massage style.

I have a particular passion for helping women recovering from womb trauma - physical abuse, sexual assault, miscarriage, abortion, birth trauma and stillbirth, as well as gynaecological disorders and fertility issues.

My own challenging life experiences and health journey gives me great understanding and compassion for the pain and grief that you might have experienced or are still enduring.

I want to listen to your story and hold a safe space for you to reclaim those hidden parts of yourself to become whole once again.

This is heart opening and humbling work which I feel blessed to be called to and I never take a moment for granted.

About Kellie

Kellie and I work in partnership for pregnancy, birth and postpartum support. We both trained with Mirabai Vines at The Birth Yurt and are doTERRA essential oil wellness advocates, so working together is an absolutely perfect fit.

Having 2 doulas to rely on is a huge advantage for our clients!

Kellie is a doula, reiki practitioner, henna artist and mother of 4.

Before she started her doula journey in 2012, she spent 16 years in the hospitality industry. Drawing from that experience and passion for being of service, combined with her newfound knowledge in holding space for women and families, Kellie has expanded her role as ‘mother’ out into our community.
